MUNCHKINS, WIZARDS & ACORNS

Originally known as Oakwood Acorns, we're now known as Millbrook Munchkins.

The Munchkins are the foundation group of Millbrook F.C.

 

We provide football sessions for the very youngest children, normally aged 3 to 5 years old. The sessions are all inclusive and cater for children with differing abilities. Boys and girls are welcome to attend the sessions.

 

Our aims and objectives are very simple. We put on fun football based games which we hope to give children the first taste of football. During the sessions we hope children gain in self respect and of course respect for others as well as learning about team concept and football.

 

Over the last few years these players have been the main feeder into our club system. We have provided numerous teams who have graduated from the group and go on to start playing at U7 Level for Millbrook.

 

Most of our current Under 7, 8, 9 10, 11, 12, 13 14 15’s have started out with the Acorns group. Currently we are getting the latest 2 teams to graduate ready for the season 2021-22. They now have managers in place and will leave the Acorns in the next few weeks.

 

As we lose children who move up to play organised football naturally it leaves gaps behind.

We now have lots of spaces for the new 3 & 5 year olds.

 

Families do not have to commit to signing up to a number of weeks or days and can just dip in and dip out if they feel like it. The main thing is for your child to want to attend every week which will show us if they are enjoying what we put up.
